Privacy Policy

This policy explains what personal data is processed when you use this website or take the scorecard, and what your rights are. Built By Artjom is operated by Artjom Gommeren, based in the Netherlands. Questions about this policy or your data: artjom@builtbyartjom.com.

What data is processed

• Visiting the website. This site is hosted on Cloudflare Pages. Cloudflare processes technical data such as your IP address to deliver the site and protect it against abuse. This website sets no cookies.
• Analytics. This site uses Cloudflare Web Analytics, a privacy-first measurement tool, to understand aggregate site usage — such as the number of visits, pages viewed, referrers, and countries. It uses no cookies, stores no identifiers on your device, and does not track you across sites; measurements are aggregate and cannot be traced back to you individually.
• Fonts. The site loads fonts from Google Fonts. When the page loads, your browser requests these fonts from Google's servers, which means Google receives your IP address.
• The scorecard. The scorecard is a questionnaire hosted by Typeform. The answers you submit — such as your name, contact details, and information about your training and goals — are processed to assess whether coaching is a good fit and to contact you about it. Typeform's own privacy policy applies to their processing.
• Email. If you email me, I keep the correspondence for as long as needed to handle your inquiry. Email runs on Google Workspace.

Why, and on what legal basis

• Scorecard answers and follow-up contact: to take steps at your request before entering into a coaching agreement (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR).
• Website delivery and security: legitimate interest in operating a working, secure website (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
• Email correspondence: legitimate interest in responding to your inquiry (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).

If you become a coaching client, additional data (such as training, nutrition, and health information) is processed under a separate coaching agreement, which is discussed with you before coaching starts.

Who receives your data

Your data is not sold or shared for advertising. It is processed by the service providers this site is built on: Cloudflare (hosting), Typeform (scorecard), and Google (fonts, email). These providers process data on my behalf or under their own privacy terms. Some of these providers may process data outside the EU; where that happens, it is covered by safeguards such as the EU's adequacy decisions or standard contractual clauses.

How long data is kept

Scorecard responses and correspondence are kept as long as needed to follow up, and no longer than two years after our last contact, unless you become a client or ask me to delete them sooner.

Your rights

Under the GDPR you can ask to access, correct, delete, or receive a copy of your personal data, restrict or object to its processing, and withdraw consent where processing is based on consent. Email artjom@builtbyartjom.com and I'll respond within a month. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Dutch data protection authority, the Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens.

Changes

This policy may be updated as the website or services change. The date at the top shows the latest revision.
